exhaust has now been welded but it looks a bit like Clifton suspension bridge. I sugest if you have one of these it is worth reinforcing as shown.

well getting there, bits painted up ready to fit and hopefully get engine back into scooter tommorrow. Mugello 225, New GP Road race crank with 116mm TV rod Had to have head skimmed could only get down to 1.5mm squish, compession would be too high if skimmed further, porting slightly out, really needs 1mm packer, but prob would be then having to fit head 'inside' barrell to get nearer squish again, cant imagine getting head off if carboned up a bit, decided to try as it is. Using original Sx200 box , used new Italian Selector, Seems a bit sticky, might slippy up a bit with a bit of oil around it. standard sprocket set up, new chain. All new f*g Bearings, all new Rolf seals So looking ok, just need to set carb, will be taking over to Taffspeed for dyno check once I get it running.

just foound a thread on Scooter Erotica and I've seen the future. I think if the S2 project ever really gets going the engine will be the new Rb20 for small blocks. Look and enjoy. scooterotica.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=296oh and before you ask..... According to the AF site: Kit £390 with head Crank £195 Pipe £200-250

Yum, yum! Do it Mike. Having a battery tray isn't a problem anyway.........just take a grinder to it!!! Do Casa do something similar already? If not would like to see what they bring to the table, in light of there recent developments. Not ridden one but the RB is meant to be a lot more tractable than th TS1, which believe me would be nice. Certainly got me interested, bugger just need a Lammy now.

from what i have read the new Casa kit is designed for clubman exhaust and 22 carb which will give a 150cc ,200cc performance with more torque. It doesnt have a read valve and the carb is on the real side making the bike look standard.
Danny at Scootopia has a demonstrater if anyone wants to have a go. Friday club Saturday visit to Scootopia for trial runs?
The equivalent is the Imola kit which Steve Bush is running in his S2 . Not sure how they will compare
ANGLE GRINDER !!!!!! i thought you were one of us anoraks

seems the reason I've had gear trouble could be some thing to do with the 1/4 inch of play in the trunnions / pivot ect. On the plus side ordered some bits from MB yesterday about 3pm yesterday and they arrived this morning at half nine, good work ;D
